The Workforce Network is a three-year, $2.25 million initiative. We were selected in 2008 to participate in the National Fund for Workforce Solutions—a new national funding collaborative that supports regional workforce partnerships. The National Fund provides $450,000 and technical assistance over three years. A required match of $1.8 million will be raised from local sources.
All local funders are organized into a Funders’ Collaborative to make joint funding decisions for the Workforce Network. The Funders’ Collaborative is a public/private funding partnership consisting of representatives from the existing Better Together Cincinnati funders’ collaborative, the region’s four Workforce Investment Boards, and additional funders.
Current funding partners include:
National Fund for Workforce Solutions
The Carol Ann and Ralph Haile/US Bank Foundation
The Greater Cincinnati Foundation
